Truck drivers have always been in shorter supply but recently with new retirement, a global pandemic and people deciding to move to less stressful/more structural jobs has resulted in America’s supply chain issue. The supply chain issues come from the high demand for goods and factory shutdowns around the world. This is leaving shelves empty, which puts Americans in panic as congestion continues to rise at ports. At this time due to low supply of driver’s warehouses around the country are jammed pack with product. This causes many shipments to have extended transit times by days and even weeks.
