LTL vs. Partial, What to know!

Updated: Jun 17

Many times we get asked which way to ship, LTL or Partial, well it really depends on what your shipping. There are benefits to both options but below we explain more on the difference to help you determine what is right for you!

LTL shipments (Less-Than-Truckload) are shipments larger than small package through the mail but to small to be a whole truckload.

Partial on the other hand is to big to be a standard LTL shipment but only take up a limited amount of space in the trailer. Partials tend to have better handling and transit time than most standard LTL carriers.
